Painting Competition 40k NO POST ITEM

Painting Competition!

Theme: Green and Gold/Yellow theme. To celebrate the Australian athletes participating in the Olympic Games.

Everyone will receive the same 40K model to paint and it can not be modified.

Entry:

- In person at Tamworth store

- Cost is $15 ($10 for token holders) or issued free with a $100+ GW purchase at time of purchase only, no exceptions!

Prizes: For First, Second and Mystery prize

Deadline:

Painting competition opens the 2nd of August 12pm and closes 14th of August 9:30pm. 

Scoring:

Public vote + a score based on how well you stuck to the theme.

- Public voting will start on the 16th of August and close on the 31st of August. 

Entries will be displayed in-store anonymously with a QR link for the public to vote.

- An independent judge will assign additional points based on theme.

Rules:

- Common sense required, No rule bending, Eg: stick to our comp guide, you can’t do something just because it doesn’t specifically say you can’t such as adding an amazing diorama under the model 😕

- Strictly Paint - no conversions, no added features, if using texture paints they are to be used only on supplied base and base must be clearly identifiable as supplied base. 

- Current GW paint range only, Eg: no 3rd party pearl varnishes 😕 

- Your entry must be fully painted including the base to the best of your ability.

- Models supplied upon entering must be the model used.

- Must be local to Tamworth area.

- Models can only be submitted to the competition supplied for, Models not freshly painted will be dishonourable discharged 😕 

- Your entry must be painted by yourself.

- Please vote honestly! Don’t vote for yourself and please vote for your favourite model, not because it is your mates or family’s entry 😕 

- Publicly promoting you model for additional votes will incur a points reduction, voting should be based on the model, not loyalty.
