About the Program
Ready for an adventure? Our Kids RPG Program gives children the chance to explore imaginative worlds, solve puzzles, battle evil monsters and work together to save the day!
We primarily play Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), a tabletop roleplaying game where players create characters and work together to tell a story. Along the way, kids can develop their creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, communication and social skills while making friends and sharing adventures.
Our program is for children aged 10–18 years, and beginners are absolutely welcome! Children don't need any previous experience or knowledge of how to play. Our Dungeon Masters will guide them through the game and help them learn as they go.
Is This Program Right for Your Child?
Tabletop roleplaying games are generally low-activity games. Sessions involve sitting around a table, listening, thinking, discussing ideas and taking turns. Children need to be able to sit and focus for extended periods while engaging with the game and other players.
We understand that everyone focuses differently! Children are welcome to bring quiet, non-disruptive fidget toys or small activities to help them stay engaged, provided these don't distract other players or interfere with the game.
Children should also be motivated and willing to learn. Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop roleplaying games have plenty of rules and mechanics to get your head around, and learning them takes time. There's no need to arrive knowing everything, but children should be willing to listen, ask questions, practise and gradually build their understanding of the game.
Our Dungeon Masters are there to guide players and help them learn along the way. Patience, a positive attitude and a willingness to participate will help children get the most out of their adventures.

Dice
A notebook
A pen
A water bottle
Children are also welcome to bring their own food, drinks and snacks. Just make sure everything stays tidy and any rubbish is cleaned up before heading home. Even adventurers need to clean up after themselves!
Drop-Off and Collection
Parents and guardians are welcome to drop their children off for the duration of the session.
Please ensure children are collected promptly at the end of their scheduled session.
Games and Content
Dungeons & Dragons is our main game, but some groups, school terms or special one-off sessions may feature other tabletop roleplaying games.
Our Dungeon Masters will adjust themes and content to suit the ages of the children in each group. If you have any questions or concerns about the games or content your child may encounter, please get in touch with us before signing up.
Behaviour and Expectations
We want our Kids RPG Program to be a welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable space where everyone can have a good time.
Children are expected to:
Treat other players and staff with kindness and respect.
Take turns, listen to others and work as a team.
Follow the Dungeon Master's instructions and participate respectfully.
Look after store equipment and keep the gaming area tidy.
If ongoing behaviour issues arise, we may contact parents or guardians to discuss the situation and work towards a solution.
If your child does have any behavioural concerns, please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether this program is suitable.
Emergency Contact Information
For your child's safety, please provide the details of a parent or guardian and an emergency contact we can reach during the session.
Please ensure all contact details are current and that the nominated contacts are available if needed. We will use this information when necessary, such as in an emergency or if we need to contact you about your child during a session.
Please also let us know about any relevant medical conditions, allergies or support needs our staff should be aware of to help your child participate safely and comfortably.
Sign-Up and Bookings
Please complete our Kids RPG Sign-Up Form and wait for confirmation that a spot is available for your child before purchasing a ticket.
Places are limited to 6 children per group, so please check availability with us before making your purchase.
Cancellations and Public Holidays
If a scheduled session falls on a public holiday, that session will be cancelled and an additional session will be added to the end of the program to ensure all 8 sessions can be completed.
If the store needs to close or the staff running a session are unable to attend, we will notify parents and guardians as soon as possible and arrange a replacement session where necessary.
Refunds and Missed Sessions
Store credit only: Tickets are eligible for store credit refunds only. We do not offer cash refunds for ticket purchases.
Missed sessions: We cannot provide refunds, store credit or replacement sessions for sessions your child misses.
Please check your child's availability before purchasing a ticket.
Changes to Groups and Withdrawals
If your child is unable to continue in their current group, they may transfer to another group if a place is available.
If no places are available, please come and have a chat with us so we can discuss the situation and work out the next steps together.
Changes to Program Information
Please note that all program information is subject to change before the term begins. This may include session dates, expectations, activities and other details. We will notify parents and guardians of any changes as soon as possible.
We look forward to welcoming your child to the table for a term of adventures, new friendships, clever problem-solving and plenty of monster-slaying fun. Roll for initiative!
